Our candy crafters start by pouring melted chocolate
directly into our tempering kettles to be pumped later
into our bunny molds.

The chocolate is stirred by our tempering kettle at
a constant speed of 15 rpm, and cooled to precisely
90 degrees before being pumped through our especially
designed chocolate pump.

The tempered chocolate is pumped into our solid molds,
while being vibrated on our shaking platform. This gets
out the majority of air bubbles from the mold.

The mold is shaken once more for good measure to level
off the chocolate.

The mold is placed into our air-conditioned cooling
cabinet to harden.

Other bunnies that have been poured earlier are removed
from the mold. This is where the bunnies have the highest"mortality
rate" as they often break when popping out of the
mold, and have to be remelted.

Previously removed bunnies are carefully trimmed of
excess chocolate.

The bunnies then get decorated after they have been
cooled and trimmed. We paste on candy, icings and colorful
jelly belly jellybeans to make them special, using melted
chocolate for "glue".

The bunnies are protectively wrapped in cellophane
and sealed with a decorative hand-tied bow.

The bunnies finally have a home, first on our display
shelves and later hopefully in your Easter baskets on
Sunday Morning.
